We're building a modern extension to our headquarters to provide more space for our growing group.
Our current Scout HQ has served us well since the 1950s, but it's time for an upgrade! We're planning a significant extension that will provide modern, accessible facilities for all our sections.
This project will transform our building into a 21st-century Scout centre, ensuring we can continue to provide amazing opportunities for young people in our community for generations to come.
The extension has been carefully designed to be environmentally friendly, fully accessible, and flexible enough to adapt to our changing needs.
What We're Building
Three modern meeting rooms with improved heating, lighting, and acoustics. Each room will be designed for different section sizes and activities.
Fully accessible toilets, ramps, and doorways ensuring everyone can participate in Scouting regardless of mobility or other accessibility needs.
An upgraded kitchen facility for cooking activities, camps preparation, and social events. Perfect for developing life skills and hosting community gatherings.
Dedicated storage areas for outdoor equipment, craft supplies, and uniforms. Proper storage means better care for equipment and easier access for activities.
