Our History
Established in 1928, our Scout group has been a cornerstone of the Newchapel community for over nine decades. We are proud of our rich heritage and our commitment to nurturing generations of young people into responsible, confident, and adventurous individuals.
Notable Achievements
Our dedication to scouting excellence has not gone unnoticed. One of our outstanding leaders, Frank Meakin, was honored with the British Empire Medal (BEM) for his exceptional service and dedication to our group and the community. Additionally, many of our young members have achieved the prestigious Queen’s/King’s Scout Awards, a testament to their commitment to personal growth and leadership.
